How We Do It
Adult Learning Principles
We acknowledge that adults learn best when learning is practical and relevant to their own lives, enabling them to use problem-solving, reflecting and reasoning skills.
Group and Individual work
Rachael understands the diverse needs of her participants and tailors programs to include group work, individual reflection and takeaway tools. Participants are given the opportunity to share their own experiences in relation to a topic, and reflect on the efficacy of previous choices and actions.
Case studies/ Role Play
Participants are provided with practical tools and templates to build new skills. They are then encouraged to practice in controlled activities and role plays, before applying the learning to their own real-world scenarios to cement their learning.
Rapport Building
Fifteen years of teaching and training adults has made Rachael an expert in quickly establishing rapport with groups. She can crack even the hardest nut!
Gamification
Who says training should be dull?
Quizzes, challenges and competitions ensure our workshops are memorable and fun.
Safe Space
Rachael prides herself on creating safe learning spaces where diversity is celebrated, participants feel secure to share experiences, acknowledge their own areas for development, and understand that there are no ‘silly questions’.
