About Joeys JRLFC

Joeys originated in 1964 as a sporting offshoot of St Joseph’s Primary School in Oyster Bay and Como. What began as a small school-based team has grown into one of the Shire’s most recognised junior footy clubs.

Today, the club operates independently and proudly fields teams across a range of junior age groups. Joeys is guided by a dedicated committee and supported by many hardworking volunteers who give their time to help the club thrive.

Our committee is made up of experienced and passionate individuals committed to supporting our players, their families and the wider community. We are also fortunate to have qualified, accredited coaches who are backed by great training facilities and equipment.

Our goal is simple — to give every child a fun, positive and rewarding footy experience. Whether a child is just beginning or is more serious about their rugby league journey, Joeys provides an environment where all players are welcomed, supported and encouraged to grow.

If your child is interested in playing footy, you couldn’t choose a better place. Joeys offers a family-first atmosphere, lifelong friendships and development pathways that can take young players as far as they dream — whether that’s years of fun with mates or progressing toward higher levels of rugby league.

With that we are proud to announce our coaching staff for the upcoming season.
