Rooty Hill, NSW, Australia · 30 – 90 minutes · from $50
One-on-one sessions in a private, quiet room.

The ritual
Light, rhythmic scratching and tracing across the scalp, back and arms — slow touch that eases the body out of fight-or-flight and into stillness.
What it is
No deep pressure. Just gentle touch, done properly.
Scratch therapy is built around one simple ritual: light, rhythmic scratching across the scalp, back and arms, using a mix of soft tools and gentle nails.
Every session is one-on-one, in a private, quiet room — and every session starts with a conversation about the pressure, textures and areas you love, and any areas to avoid entirely.

ASMR & the tingles
Slow, rhythmic touch can trigger a tingling sensation across the scalp and skin — the same response ASMR is known for.
It helps calm the nervous system by easing the body out of fight-or-flight and into deep rest. Many clients drift into a meditative, half-asleep state by the end of a session.

Plate I · The sensations
Every escape is built from the same gentle techniques. Longer escapes give each one more time — and add a few more.
